ABOUT GLENMORE HOUSE

Almost thirty-five years ago, we discovered a collection of dilapidated, early colonial vernacular farm buildings in the foothills of the Razorback Range at Glenmore, near Camden, NSW, Australia.

Since then, the original farmhouse has been restored and extended; the former barn, dairy, stables, hay shed and other outbuildings given new purpose. Gradually, all have been linked together by new fences, walls, paths, steps, hedges and gardens.

The result is a small, unique and charming country property nestled into a landscape of delightful rise and fall…on the very edge of Sydney.

We  would be delighted to have you join us, for an inspiring day at Glenmore House and its working garden…at one of the myriad workshops and events we host. If you would like to read more about the story of Glenmore, as well as the way of life enjoyed today, The House and Garden at Glenmore by Mickey Robertson was published by Murdoch Books in October 2017.
