There can be absolutely no doubt whatsoever about what season it is!!
Broad beans & peas at their most tantalising, spring green best. With the last of winter’s fine broccoli stems & a sprinkling of coloured chard scattered like jewels & some tiny leeks…..who could not like cooking at this time of the year?? (especially when it all just came moments before from the garden…..)
