Why, oh why did it take me so long to plant one of these beauties????!!!! I’ve wanted one forever, but somehow just never got around to it, until the last Collectors’ Plant Fair. Lotus man – thank goodness he was there!
Every stage of the flowering process is mesmerising….from bud to flower….
To the early stages of the seed pod. The shape, texture, colour of the pod and fall of the stamens seems to change daily.
And the leaves are singularly magnificent as they sway in the breeze, great plates of luminescent green held high above the pond, soft & voluptuous with their simple centre.
