I am delighted to let you know that botanical alchemist INDIA FLINT will be making a return visit to Glenmore on THURSDAY 14 AUGUST for another exquisite dyeing workshop.
This time around, you will dye a fabulous SilkyMerino travel wrap. In India's words: 'Merino wool is frankly a miracle fibre and when blended with a dash of silk, becomes the stuff of dreams.' India will 'supply a tube of SilkyMerino jersey, together with silk & cotton stitching thread and needles: everything you need to make a deliciously soft, ecoprint opera or bush picnic wrap, to double as a sleeping tube for the plane & fold into its own pocket.' (India has a way of combining novel ideas with the completely practical and under her guidance, the result is bound to be striking). While we enjoy a hearty winter lunch, your wrap will absorb beautiful leaf prints as it steeps in India's cauldron bubbling away in the Dairy fireplace.
Last year's workshop saw participants completely absorbed in India's world....a place where magic happens as natural materials find themselves in capable hands. Personally, now the weather is turning, I can't wait to bring last year's delightful wrap out of the drawer for another season.

This will be a day of true escapism, when you have the opportunity to learn from a most inspiring and greatly sought-after artist, as well as to make something truly unique.
India and I will look forward to seeing you here!
Very best wishes
