As we enter our 5th year of KITCHEN GARDENING DAYS, the first for the year approaches: LATE SUMMER/AUTUMN KITCHEN GARDENING will take place on FRIDAY 22 FEBRUARY......the day to learn all the information you need to prepare for the season ahead.
While the garden at Glenmore is abundant with produce, it's time to plan for autumn; and though we collect tomatoes, aubergines, capsicum and cucumbers, we need to begin thinking about peas and broad beans, fennel, parnsips and kale ....oh the delights to be contemplated!
Our Kitchen Gardening Days ensure you are in posession of all the information you need, for your very own organic Kitchen Garden. Comprehensive notes are always provided for you to refer back to in the future, should you find the information all too overwhelming on the day. (We're often told that heads spin!). While Linda talks you through all the basics, as well as our hard-earned collection of tips & tricks, I collect ingredients for our lovely lunch in the loggia. A good portion of the day is spent outside investigating all the fruit & veg; their growth habits and needs.
We would be delighted to see you here for the first time, or to welcome you back now you have some first-hand experience and important questions to ask. For full details of the day and to make a booking, please click here. Or if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to contact me.
I've been topping up the blog posts these last couple of weeks, so do take a peek for the latest happenings at Glenmore!
