Now that Jardine has moved to Tassie, it's becoming more and more difficult to find a day for one of her fabulous flower workshops at Glenmore. But we've done it, and I'm truly excited to invite you to a glorious FLOWER WORKSHOP with JARDINE HANSEN on SUNDAY 20 AUGUST!
It's very rare for me to suggest a workshop on a Sunday, but to be honest, I can't think of a more delightful way to spend a day....any day.....
It's close to the date we chose last year, marginally earlier, and it was surprising how much material we found in the garden on our morning walk to play with, for that first loose, garden arrangement of the day. The opportunity to pick from the garden is such a treat for everyone, as we wander and chat about plants and flowers.....creating just the right frame of mind to tackle the riot of flowers and foliage that Jardine will bring with her - buckets of beauty with which to create your own abundant bouquet to take home at the end of the day.
If you'd like to learn a little more about Jardine, you can read about her in this entry on The Planthunter, and also at The Flower Seekers' online magazine for flower lovers (the images were shot here by Luisa Brimble at last year's autumn workshop, pages 28-31).
For all details of this hands-on workshop that will reveal a peek into spring, please click here, and if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me. There will, of course, be a garden-inspired lunch on the day for all to enjoy.
I simply can't wait to see the Dairy filled once again with early season poppies, roses, ranunculus, anemones, sweet peas, daffodils, hellebores, blossoming branches and armfuls of foliage and oh....the scent....our own private flower shop to revel in for a moment in time! Jardine and I will so look forward to seeing you here.
Very best wishes as always,
