Bird Cow Tree at Glenmore....

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to invite you to the BIRD COW TREE, LONG SUNDAY LUNCH at GLENMORE HOUSE, on SUNDAY 12 OCTOBER.

BIRD COW TREE is an occasional dining collaboration between chefs and good friends, MARTIN BOETZ (The Cooks Co-Op) and ALEX HERBERT (Bird Cow Fish).  Several long Bird Cow Tree Lunches have been held at Martin's Cook's Co-Op Farm at Sackville on the Hawkesbury River, where he grows seasonal produce for Sydney restaurants, giving Martin the opportunity to share his passion and advise chefs about veg from seed to plate.  Alex now holds a weekly Saturday morning stall called #Breakfastandstuff at Eveleigh Market, Carriage Works in Redfern, where she cooks a range of delicious pastries including her famous 'Crooked Madam', and other breakfast treats to feed the hoards of shoppers. Over the last two years, the duo have taken their feasting on the road: next stop GLEMMORE!

With specially selected wines from VOYAGER ESTATE to accompany each course, Martin & Alex have designed a scrumptious spring menu for the day.

Lunch will be held in the Dairy, nestled between the garden Borders which will be reaching their spring peak, and the Kitchen Garden, freshly planted with new season crops (and following the amazing rain we've enjoyed these last weeks, everything in the garden should be lovely!).

To view the menu and to make a booking, please click here, and if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me.  There will be time to linger longer, to wander in the garden, perhaps do a very little shopping in the Barn if you feel so inclined; to enjoy the late afternoon light....to take time to smell the roses....

Martin, Alex and I very much look forward to seeing you here, for an intoxicating celebration of spring.

Very best wishes,
