Delicate petals of Romneya coulteri dance and flutter on summer's breeze....

Hello everyone,

It's been quite a year, and just delightful to see so many of you here throughout the course of it....either at Kitchen Gardening or Cooking Days, a host of workshops, special events, Open Garden or out and about.  I send a big thank you to those with whom I've worked in collaboration to bring you such giddy opportunities this year and am very much looking forward to putting the finishing touches to a list of tantalising events planned for 2016....sneak peak here!

Although it's time to down tools of all varieties, (including this tap-tap-tap one) I expect to spend much of the holiday season (if last weekend was anything to go by) attached to a hose, watering can or ball of string, as certainly the garden won't rest!  I'm anticipating a crop of beans, baby new potatoes, zucchinis, tomatoes and cucumbers at any minute (just in time for Christmas day?) while tending the slower growing veg in hope of a magnificent autumn harvest - fingers crossed!

And so I wish you all a

VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS
some festive holiday fun with family and friends
and my hopes and wishes for a
GOOD & PEACEFUL NEW YEAR

Mickey
