I hope you enjoyed a lovely Easter break, filled with joy and early autumn delight.
This is a wee note to remind those among you who enjoy the thrill of a hunt, that the COLLECTORS' PLANT FAIR is on this weekend, 11 & 12 APRIL at CLARENDON. I'm looking forward to having a stand there once again, complete with treats to tempt (including a stash of baskets which I think may be quite useful for carrying all those plants you're bound to fall for!).
You can discover all the practical details for the weekend here, listing the nurserymen who will bring their specialities, as well as how to purchase tickets, times and directions. I so look forward to this fair each year, even if I bring home just one beauty or a handful of bulbs (though last year I scored a magnificent orchid, four small cacti, a lotus and some lilium bulbs, all of which have become new favourites at Glenmore). I wonder what this year's fair might bring?
On other topics altogether, you will find details for CHARLOTTE THODEY'S VISUAL FEAST (about which I'm so excited and for which I'll send a proper newsletter very soon) here, details for WINTER KITCHEN GARDENING on 9 MAY here, and for those who may be interested, my recent blog posts here. Of course, last but not least and I know it almost goes without saying but: all the details for our own OPEN GARDEN at GLENMORE on 2 & 3 MAY can be discovered here!
In the meantime, I'll very much hope to see you this weekend. At the Plant Fair!
Very best wishes
