A reminder that INTRODUCTION TO KITCHEN GARDENING AUTUMN/WINTER is on SATURDAY 1 MARCH...that's next week (how on earth did it get here so fast?). It's the day we begin a whole new season, from scratch. So if you're even tinkering with the idea of growing your own veg, now is the moment to act (if you have any expectation of produce in the months ahead). There is so much to plan, to prepare and learn before you start planting, and Linda and I are very keen to make sure you're on track!
As you can see, I've moved the girls into the garden beds to do their best: step one! I have a great deal more to do in the coming days, to set the best example I can for you...
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. For further details and to making a booking, please click here.
Other dates for the diary:
COASTAL GARDENS, with Myles Baldwin 12 March
RANDOM WEAVING, with Harriet Goodall 28 March
WINTER KITCHEN GARDENING, 3 May
And I have a little hint to suggest....why don't you mark your calendar for the COLLECTORS' PLANT FAIR on 12 & 13 APRIL. This is a fair I always much look forward to attending, and this year, I'll also have a stall which is extremely exciting!
I'll look forward to seeing you soon.
Very best wishes
ps Neil & Carmen will be back at the Camden Markets this Saturday with their beautiful organic veg seedlings. Now is the time to begin your successional planting plan for autumn and if you're not up to propagating your own, this is the best solution by far! If you can't make it to Camden, let me know & I'll forward their 'market days' agenda for 2014.
pps Don't forget to check my intermittent blog posts....particularly if you're keen to measure up your own produce, to find some encouragement and odd musings...
