Faded potting shades for the garden show....

Hello everyone,

With spring about to 'do its thing', it's time for the AUSTRALIAN GARDEN SHOW at CENTENNIAL PARK, and from 4-7 SEPTEMBER, we'll be joining forces once again with Surry Hills antique store ICI et LA.

Following our inspiring workshop with India Flint, I am excited to be taking along a couple of her beautiful open-weave silk scarves, imbued and imprinted with the spirit of India's own garden, as well as those fabulous handcrafted trugs, a collection of delightful washed out terracotta pots, my hat, the dress, my favourite baskets, the plant stands and a whole host of other delights, including a surprise addition from Charlotte Thodey's larder.

My daughter Clementine and I will be 'manning the stand' each day, and we'll very much look forward to seeing you there.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, or for full details of the Australian Garden Show, click here.

Last year was the inaugural show....so this one should be even better!

Best wishes

Mickey

ps If you would like to see recent blog posts, just click here, and.....it's just a thought, but you may also like to attend the one day Food & Words event on Saturday 20 September.  In its third year, arranged and organised by the enthusiastic and inexhaustible Barbara Sweeney, the guest speaker list for the day looks a treat and I'll certainly be attending.  I couldn't believe missing out last year when she ran the event on the same weekend as our open garden & I've no intention of missing out again!  I'll hope to see you there.....
