Hello again everyone,
Just because I've been tempting you recently with invitations to delicious lunches and musical concerts, it doesn't mean I've forgotten about the topic that is at our very core: producing good organic, seasonal produce. And encouraging you to do the same!
And so I invite you to attend our SPRING/SUMMER KITCHEN GARDENING DAY on SATURDAY 1 NOVEMBER. Since our last one in August, we've rotated the beds, (moved the chooks, barrowed in our lovely compost), built our support structures, sown seed and planted out seedlings (as well as eaten the bounty of last season's harvest). The fruit trees have blossomed and are setting their fruit and our spring seed-saving programme is under way. There is an abundance for you to see and therefore to learn from. As it will be our last Kitchen Gardening Day of the year, it's the best opportunity for you to discover all the relevant information to take your own Kitchen Garden through the inevitable summer heat waves and pick up a few of our hard-earned tips and tricks. If you're new to this game, not to worry....we've all begun from scratch and will be delighted to start you on your own exciting Kitchen Gardening journey.
Of course, I'll prepare a lovely lunch for us all to enjoy from the garden and as always, Linda will bring along her extensive knowledge, comprehensive notes for you to take home and her intoxicating sense of fun.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me. For full details about the day and to make a booking, you can click here.
Linda and I will very much look forward to seeing you here, when the occasion will mark six complete years of Kitchen Gardening Days at Glenmore House!
Very best wishes
