Long-table lunches at Glenmore.....

Hello everyone,

Just because winter is slowly creeping up on us, don't think for one moment that the Kitchen Garden is laying dormant and forlorn.....it is precisely the opposite....simply humming along and bursting with so much to see and learn!

That's why I'm delighted to invite you to join me for the first winter inTHE KITCHEN GARDEN WITH MICKEY on SATURDAY 24 JUNE. In the same vein as the autumn days, morning participants will meet afternoon participants at the lunch table at 1pm, where this time around a hearty winter soup will be the order of the day.

I've had such lovely feedback from participants who attended the first of these workshops, assuring me they are inspired like never before and that their gardens are working in tandem with the season and successfully so.  That's simply music to my ears.

While the lunches at these workshops are on a fairly strict timetable (given the two sessions) it doesn't mean they're any less a highlight of the day.  Some of you comment from time to time that I rarely include photos of people anywhere....it's because I'm such a dud at taking them! Plants and gardens fine, but people? And so I was delighted when a recent inThe Kitchen Garden participant sent me this one, as I think it captures something of the spirit of our Glenmore lunches.....they're generally rather animated affairs....thank you Ian (who snapped this from about half way down the table!).

It's bound to be chilly by the end of June, so I'll ask you to wrap up well; but as always, it will be a day jam-packed with information - enough to make your head whirl.  I'll hope to see you then.  All details about inThe Kitchen Garden days can be found here (as well as the booking form) and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes
