I was going to say spring is on the way, but this week has seen us backtrack somewhat! It's inevitable of course and to be honest, we just wish it would rain (no, it hasn't here yet....). That said, it's full steam ahead towards the coming season and we invite you to join us for our INTRODUCTION TO KITCHEN GARDENING SPRING/SUMMER on SATURDAY 30 AUGUST. Whether you're ready to tackle growing your own fruit and veg for the very first time or simply tinkering with the idea (or perhaps you're underway but have yet to grow summer produce), this is the day we share all the information you need to be on track, and we can't wait!
I hope you may be tempted to join Linda and me....for a day that begins with morning tea, will see you spend delightful time in the Kitchen Garden inspecting our winter/spring produce, enjoy a long-table lunch from the garden and have your myriad questions answered. Comprehensive notes will be provided and you are assured of a day full of information and like-minded friends, with some good fun and laughter along the way. For full details of the day and to make a booking, just click here, and for extensive details of Kitchen Gardening days, here and here.
You can glean all the recent Glenmore news by taking a peek at my blog posts here and to see an interview with the beautifully presented online journal the Slowpoke, click here, (but do scoot through our article and take a look at some of the other treats in store).
The Australian Garden Show is on the near horizon, 4-7 September, when we will be taking a stall once again with French antique store Ici et La. Further details about show and other special events in the pipeline will be coming soon. In the meantime, we are frantically pruning the garden and plan to begin mulching next week. It's such an exciting time!
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Very best wishes as always, from a winter is almost over, so very happy...
